인구의 도시 집중이 점점 심해지고 있는 것은 경제적 이유 외에 자녀 교육 문제도 상당한 비중을 차지한다. 공교육은 물론 사교육 여건까지 농어촌지역에 비해 도시지역이 훨씬 잘 갖춰져 있음에 따라 자녀 교육을 위해서라도 농어촌을 떠나는 사람들이 계속 늘고 있는 것이다.<2006년 07월 29일자>
